On a reader's request... I have tried to translate / recreate the punch with this translation in English... Some lines have been deliberately jumbled to maintain a sequence... Dunno how far I have succeeded... Any corrections / suggestions will be most welcome... :)
स्वर्ग में लिखी या कही गयी जुबानी written in heaven or recited on earth
है हर किसी की यही अमर कहानी this is everyone's life's immortal tale
धरती पर सुलगाई गयी चिंगारी ignitin' the spark of love on earth
जाओ बगैर चालें जाने खेलो ये पारी prompting all to play a game ignorant of rules
चाहें मिया बीवी हों या न हों राज़ी groom's or bride's will no longer matters
दोहराना पड़ेगा वही जो कहेगा क़ाज़ी they're forced to repeat whatever priest chatters
असमंजस में है बेचारा भगवान sadly, even God's confused in times like today
ढूंढ रहा किधर है राम, कौन है हैवान appalled by changin' relationships day-by-day
चकित है रोज बदलते रिश्तों के कारण faced with a dilemma, whom to give the bride away
बूझ रहा किस सीता को किसे करे कैसे अर्पण searchin' for the perfect man masked by a devil in play
शतरंज की इतनी बड़ी बिसात पर चलते staring at the enormous chessboard of life
जोड़-तोड़ गुण-गणित की चालें सोचते God's manipulating, calculating moves to survive
सुलझाते वही एक झोल बारमबार trying to resolve same issues time 'n again
अस्तव्यस्तता में गुम हो आखिरकार losing focus in chaotic disorderliness's pain
निम्न दो पंक्तियों को ही दे पाता है तूल delving in 'n weighing all pros 'n cons,
he spells out a universal verdict with gloating pride,
"लंगूर हाथ हूर", "बबून संग जूही का फूल" " let there always be a baboon...
"...holding a jasmine flower" or
"...with a nymph standing by his side"!!
